Two Flat Cap resorts dropped at marketplace for £7 million


UK: After falling into administration in January 2024, British hospitality group Flat Cap Motels has put The Vicarage and The Bridge Resort in Cheshire up on the market individually.

Property advisor Christie & Co has been appointed on behalf of joint directors Gareth Prince, Mark Malone and Julian Pitts of Begbies Traynor, to market The Vicarage (provides in extra of £2.5 million) and The Bridge Resort (provides in extra of £4.5 million) from the Flat Cap Motels’ portfolio.

Flat Cap Motels entered administration on 18 January 2024, noting the pandemic, inflation and difficult financial setting as the principle elements.

Situated in Carnage alongside the banks of the River Dane, The Vicarage is a 23-bedroom lodge providing a bar and restaurant, a library, video games room, and exterior seating and parking.

The Bridge is a 27-bedroom lodge and restaurant positioned on the banks of the River Bollin within the village of Prestbury. It provides a lounge and restaurant, a riverside operate suite, and gardens that includes an outside bar referred to as The Shed.

Each properties have lately been refurbished.
