As the town shivers below gray skies, The Mirror Bar, tucked contained in the five-star Landmark London, has partnered with one of many world’s most famed cognac manufacturers, Courvoisier, to create a glamorous winter hideaway.
Daring pink panelling, dazzling glass shows and a fascinating infinity mirror tunnel set the stage for an indulgent night of artistic cocktails and elevated small plates.
The limited-edition cocktail menu showcases Courvoisier’s VSOP cognac, celebrated for its wealthy, refined and clean flavour. Particular serves embody L’Hiver en Rose, a mixture of Courvoisier VSOP, Amaro liqueur, hibiscus, cherry and Rosé Champagne; French 125, a complicated mix of Courvoisier VSOP, lemon, toasted pumpkin and champagne in addition to the advanced Manila Kiss that includes Courvoisier VSOP, banana-infused Appleton Property Rum, Cacao Blanc Liqueur and vanilla topped with hazelnut caviar. Complementing the cocktails is a menu of chic dishes together with Cornish crab and crème fraiche canapés; beef carpaccio with chimichurri and aged parmesan; mushroom and truffle croquettes. Cheese lovers will recognize the collection of British cheeses served with preserves and artisan crackers — an ideal pairing for an after-dinner cognac.
What’s extra, the sheltered and heated out of doors terrace presents an atmospheric retreat from the chilly. With views of the town and a handpicked collection of cigars, it’s an excellent spot for pre-or post-dinner cocktails.
