China: Luxurious resort firm Shangri-La Group has launched its ultra-luxury model Shangri-La Signatures with the opening of The Silk Lakehouse in Hangzhou.
Situated on the shores of West Lake, a UNESCO World Heritage Web site, The Silk Lakehouse is housed within the former Xiling Lodge.
Designed by Belgian inside architect Gert Voorjans and Spanish designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, the remodeled property is impressed by a Jiangnan silk service provider’s dwelling.
