US: The Gunter Resort, a 116-year-old San Antonio landmark, has reopened following a $57 million (£42 million) renovation.
Now a part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio, the reimagined property has unveiled new visitor rooms, eating venues, and cultural experiences.
The lodge options 311 rooms, together with 30 suites and 14 ADA rooms, together with a rooftop pool, 24/7 health centre, and 20,000 sq. toes of assembly area.
Paying homage to its musical previous, the property now affords an in-house recording studio, a 900-album vinyl library, and in-room report gamers.
The relaunch comes with new meals and beverage venues: Jots, the lodge’s signature American restaurant, and the Keystone Membership foyer bar are already open with restricted menus, whereas speakeasy Bar 414 and Paris Baguette, a global bakery and café, will debut later this 12 months.
This system is led by director of culinary improvement Sarah Myles, chef de delicacies Hayley Unruh, and director of retailers Nicholle Purnell.
