APAC travellers would pay extra for personalisation, report reveals

APAC: Hospitality software program supplier Agilysys has launched the findings of its 2024 APAC Hospitality Impression Research, which highlights untapped income potential for hoteliers.

Agilysys surveyed greater than 1,000 travellers from Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and Singapore about their preferences and spending habits. 

The examine revealed that 68 per cent of APAC travellers would enhance their resort spending for personalised experiences, with 73 per cent prepared to pay as much as 30 per cent extra for room upgrades when provided post-booking. 

Moreover, 66 per cent of respondents would probably spend extra if wait occasions had been diminished throughout all resort experiences, and 68 per cent would enhance spending when a loyalty program is in place.
