UK: The Ardgowan Resort on Playfair Terrace in St Andrews will probably be rebranded as The Kithmore following a £7.5 million renovation and extension.
The Kithmore will be a part of boutique resort group The Marram Assortment when it reopens in June 2026.
World hospitality company Crown Inventive has developed the resort’s model id with design led by architects RKA and inside design studio ICA.
When full, The Kithmore will provide a luxurious 44-bed resort and a 60-cover bar and restaurant with an prolonged terrace.

The Marram Assortment contains The Leddie (Aberlady, Scotland) and The Bushmills Inn (Bushmills, Northern Eire).
