4 Pillars launch Altering Seasons gin – hospitality

4 Pillars have teamed up with Japan’s Kyoto Distillery to create Altering Seasons, a brand new gin that celebrates collaboration.

It began with a visit to Japan in spring 2019 the place 4 Pillars co-founders Cam Mackenzie, Matt Jones and Stu Gregor visited Kyoto Distillery’s Alex Davies who later headed over to Healesville, Victoria, to the house of 4 Pillars.

Mackenzie and Davies labored with an array of Australian and Japanese botanicals earlier than deciding on what Altering Seasons is now.

“Altering Seasons Gin has massive shiny aromas of pine needle, inexperienced citrus and lightweight inexperienced tea,” says Mackenzie.

“The inexperienced yuzu and the finger limes work superbly collectively. The quandong and kinmokusei are actually fruity to style and the feel is pushed from the hinoki, pink pine and dense juniper. The juniper is massive on the end so it’s unmistakably gin.”

Altering Seasons is obtainable for $85 on 4 Pillars’ web site.
